The 21st National conference of Indian Chapter of IHPBA, IHPBA India 2025, Kolkata, is being conducted by FOGISO Academic Foundation, which is a not-for-profit society incorporated under subsection (2) of section 7 and subsection (1) of section 8 of the companies Act 2013 (18 of 2013) and rule 18 of the companies (Incorporation) rules 2014. FOGISO stands for Forum of Gastrointestinal Surgeons and Oncologists. This organisation was formerly known as IASGCON 2022 Kolkata Forum.

This company/society has been created with the sole purpose of conducting academic activities and furthering medical and surgical education in the field of gastrointestinal surgery and GI oncology and GI cancer surgery.

This will be carried out in the form of conferences, meetings, social work and CME.
